Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) experienced childhood in an area loaded with symbol adore called Babylon, where agnostics bowed to false divine beings like men, the stars and sun.Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) needed Truth and didn't venerate tha stars, moon or sun. He needed to know their Creator and venerate the main True One. Once the agnostics went to a celebration, however Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) faked feeling debilitated. He crushed every one of the symbols yet settled a hatchet on one and felt rapidly.
The irate agnostics thundered, Did you slaughter our divine beings? needing every one of the certainties, smart Hazrat
Ibrahim (a.s) said, Why don't you ask the huge symbol holding the hatchet? They said,Idols can't talk! He said, Don't bow to what you make, Idols can't help or hurt you, so Worship ALLAH for God's sake!
They cried,Help the divine beings! Light a major fire and hurl the scalawag in! be that as it may, Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) was unhurt as ALLAH made the flame cool and alright for him. The agnostic failures plotted to slaughter him yet lost against ALLAH's Plan. Ibrahim (a.s) was given the title "Khalilullah" (Friend of ALLAH), a Muslim and extremely devout man.
The prophet said: I am the child of the two penances.
Gazali composes God recalled the penance of Hazrat Ibrahim a.s an awesome penance. Since 3370 years the sheep was supported in Heaven to give buy-off at the spot of Ismail a.s.Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) was lamented in Israel.The Dua of Hazrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salaam
"O my Lord, keep me as establisher of petition to God and some of my kids as well, O our Lord and acknowledge my request to God."
(Surah Ibrahim, verse 40)
